Qualifications Required for the M.Phil. Programme

  • Following applicants are eligible for admission in an Mphil Programme:
    • Old MBA/MPA/M.com/ICMA/ICA/B.com (4 years).
    • BBA 4-year programme with a minimum of 136 credit hours.
    • An applicant must have a minimum 2nd division or 2.5 CGPA on a scale of 4.
  • Applicants from recognized universitities / degree awarding institutions which award degree on division basis, must have a minimum of 2nd division in the relevant field of study provided the Division is mentioned on the Degree/Transcript.
  • Applicants from recognized universities / degree awarding institutions which award degrees on CGPA basis, must have a minimum of 2.5 CGPA on a scale of 4 in the relevant field of study as mentioned on Degree / Transcript. If the institution is working on a scale other than 4, the CGPA will be converted to a scale of 4.
  • Institutions which mention both division and CGPA on the Degree / Transcript must meet either of the two conditions mentioned below.
    • CGPA of 2.5 or above (on a scale of 4)
    • Or 1st Division
  • Applicants having a foreign degree are required to provide the equivalence certificate from Higher Education Commission.
  • The number of credit hours needed to be completed for the award of a degree will be according to the policies of the Higher Education Commission.
  • In addition candidates must pass subject GRE (international) test / NTS (with at least 60% marks) for admission in Mphil.
